The Eagan Art Festival (EAF) is a program of Dakota Center for the Arts and has been a long-standing event in the Eagan community for 30+ years. The EAF is a two-day event featuring 80+ local artists, family-friendly entertainment, community arts experiences, and local food vendors.

FREE Activities All Weekend

Community Art Project

  • This Community Art Project is designed as a hands-on, take-home experience where each participant will create and keep their own small-scale Crop Art piece. In addition, lead artist Jill Osiecki will be on site demonstrating a larger, more intricate Crop Art design, offering
    inspiration and insight into the creative possibilities of this unique Minnesota tradition. Guests will also be invited to contribute to this demonstration and collaborative work, which will be offered to Dakota Center for the Arts for display following the event.

Kids Scavenger Hunt

  • Can you follow the clues to discover your very own art experience with our Kids Scavenger Hunt? Participants will receive take-home art supplies!

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

FREE Artist Demos

  • Make a wood mosaic with Kellie of Moonlit Forest Art! Choose from a set of designs or make a piece that is uniquely yours. Guests will leave with a colorful art creation of their very own!

  • Learn how to master abstract painting with Kate from Flyover State Creative! Participants will get to experiment on their own or in groups and take home their own canvas!

FREE Artist Demos

  • Paint your very own greeting cards with a demonstration from Zoe of Zoe Mae Art! Beginner and intermediate options available, from flower bouquets to mushrooms surrounded by dancing fairy lights.

  • Practice relief printing using Linocuts made by Amanda and Dustin from Media Studio One. Bring home a free EAF2025 print as a souvenir!
